01Who we are

This website, makeupalways.com, is run by Jodi's Permanent Makeup (“we,” “us” or “our”), a private permanent makeup studio in Plantation, Florida, that Jodi Cianci owns and runs, where appointments are one to one with her. This policy covers the information you share through this website and when you contact us.

02Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to share with us, plus the basic technical details every website receives:

• Details you share by email or phone: your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us, such as the service you're interested in or your question.
• Basic technical information: like most websites, the service that hosts this site may automatically log details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. These logs help keep the site secure and working; we don't use them to track you.

We don't collect payment details through this website.

03How we use your information

We use the information you share with us to:

• reply to your questions and requests;
• arrange, confirm or reschedule consultations and appointments;
• follow up after an appointment, for example about a touch up session, or to ask about your experience;
• keep simple records of our conversations and your appointments; and
• keep this website secure and working properly.

We never sell your personal information. We don't rent or trade it, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that run our website and email, and only so they can do that job, or where the law requires it.

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you promotions unless you've asked us to.

The email links on this website open your own email app so you can write, review and send your message to jodi@makeupalways.com.

You can also call 954-261-8306 to discuss questions or appointments with Jodi. Email messages are kept in our email account.

05Cookies & analytics

This website currently uses no tracking or advertising cookies of its own, and no analytics. Some embedded content, such as the Google map in our location section, comes from other companies and may set its own cookies; see Third party links & services below.

If we add a tool such as Google Analytics in the future, to understand how visitors find and use the site, we'll update this policy first to explain what it collects and how you can opt out.

06Your health information

Please don't send medical details (such as diagnoses, medications, or information about surgery or cancer treatment) by email or text. Email is fine for questions and scheduling, but these channels aren't the right place for sensitive health information.

Anything about your health that matters for your treatment is discussed privately, one to one, at your consultation.

If you're asking about paramedical services such as areola restoration or scar camouflage, a short note like “I'd like to ask about paramedical services” is all we need. Jodi will get back to you and talk through the details in private.

If you do choose to share health details with us, we'll keep them confidential and use them only to respond to you and prepare for your appointment.

07Before and after photos

We only publish before and after photos of clients who have given their written consent, and we don't name clients alongside their photos.

Photos of paramedical work, such as areola restoration or scar camouflage, are especially personal, so we don't show them publicly on this website.

Changed your mind? If you've agreed to let us share your photos and would like them taken down, contact us and we'll remove them from this website.

08Keeping & protecting your information

We keep your messages and contact details only for as long as we need them (to respond to you, provide your services and keep reasonable business records) or for as long as the law requires.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. That said, no website, email or storage system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to send us online.

09Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that's wrong;
• delete your information; or
• stop contacting you.

Just email jodi@makeupalways.com or call 954-261-8306. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can, and if we're required by law to keep certain records, we'll let you know.

10Children

This website is intended for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

11Third party links & services

Our website links to, or embeds, services run by other companies. They have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information:

• Google Maps: the map in our location section is embedded from Google. When it loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address and set cookies, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
• Social media: links to our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles take you to those sites.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add online booking or analytics to the website. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Please also see our Terms of Use.
